1	Check gap dimensions at rear door (1)		AR60.00-P-0700-01LF
		Gaps on hoods, doors and covers:
		Front/rear door to roof paneling, side	*BE60.00-P-1009-01BA
		Front door to rear door	*BE60.00-P-1011-01BA
		Rear door to side section, bottom	*BE60.00-P-1012-01BA
		Front door cover to rear door cover	*BE60.00-P-1013-01BA

	Remove
2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key
3	Detach upper paneling (2) on B-pillar and place to one side	Do not remove belt end fitting.	AR68.30-P-4700LF
4	Remove lower trim (3) on B-pillar		AR68.30-P-4700LF
5	Remove sound-proofing (4) from B-pillar
6	Pivot air duct (5) to side and toward front until bolts (6) on automatic belt retractor (8) are accessible	Do not pivot air duct (5) too far. Otherwise the air duct (5) may kink.
7	Remove screws/bolts (6) from belt retractor (8
8	Remove belt retractor (8) from B-pillar	Do not disconnect electrical connector (7), if necessary expose wiring harness. Ensure that seat belt does not roll up.
9	Pivot seat belt retractor (8) as shown
10	Press catch hook (10) on electrical connector (7) down with suitable screwdriver and guide electrical connector (7) out of bracket (11), then lay automatic belt retractor (8) down to side
11	Glue on adhesive strips (14) as shown and cut in center of door joint	Adhesive strips (14) serves as orientation when adjusting.
12	Mark installation position of lock striker (13)	Marking facilitates assembly of lock striker (13).
13	Unscrew bolts (12) and remove locking eye (13)
	Adjust
14	Loosen nuts (15, 16) and adjust by moving rear door (1) to corresponding gap dimensions		AR60.00-P-0700-01LF
		Gaps on hoods, doors and covers:
		Front door cover to rear door cover	*BE60.00-P-1013-01BA
		Rear door to side section, bottom	*BE60.00-P-1012-01BA
		Front door to rear door	*BE60.00-P-1011-01BA
		Front/rear door to roof paneling, side	*BE60.00-P-1009-01BA

15	Tighten nuts (15, 16)	Nut, hinge to B-pillar	*BA72.12-P-1002-01Q
16	Loosen bolts (17) on upper door hinge leaf (18) and adjust transition between rear door (1) and front door by moving rear door (1)	The contour of the front door (1) must be flush with the contour of the rear door or project by a maximum of 1 mm.
17	Loosen bolts (19) on lower door hinge leaf (20) and adjust transition between rear door and front door by moving rear door (1)	The contour of the front door (1) must be flush with the contour of the rear door or project by a maximum of 1 mm.
18	Tighten bolts (17, 19)	Bolt, hinge to rear door	*BA72.12-P-1001-01Q
19	Insert lock striker (13) and screw in bolts (12) up to stop	It should still be possible to adjust the lock striker (13).
20	Adjust transition between rear door (1), rear fender and roof paneling by moving lock strike (13)	The contour of the rear door (1) must be flush with the contours of the rear fender and roof paneling or project by a maximum of 1 mm.
21	Tighten bolts (12)	Bolt, lock striker to C-pillar	*BA72.12-P-1004-01Q
	Install
22	Remove adhesive strip (14)
23	Insert electrical connector (7) into bracket (11) and arrest	Ensure that catch hook (10) is seated correctly behind pin (arrow A) of bracket (11).
24	Insert automatic belt retractor (8) into B-pillar	Ensure that wiring harness is routed properly.
25	Tighten bolts (6) on automatic belt retractor (8	Bolt for front belt retractor	*BA91.40-P-1004-01T
26	Move air duct (5) to installation position
27	Install lower paneling (2) and upper paneling (3) in B-pillar		AR68.30-P-4700LF
		Ensure that seatbelt is routed correctly.
28	Repair paint damage on bolt heads (17, 19) and around both hinges	Use suitable touch-up paint pen.
	Risk of explosion and poisoning  caused by solvent vapors and gasses. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes when working with anticorrosion agents	Never spray corrosion protection on flames or hot, glowing objects and keep them well away from all potential sources of ignition.
