	Remove/install
1	Fully lower front door side window (1).
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).

4	Mask off fender (2) and front door (1) in cross-hatched area with fabric tape.
5	Disconnect electrical connector of driver's door (X35/1) or electrical connector of front passenger door (X35/2).
6	Remove cover of grub screw (5).
7	Unscrew grub screws (5, 6) of hinges (3, 4) by 3 turns.	: Repair paint damage in area of grub screws (5, 6).

8	Remove front door (1) from lower hinge leaves and set down on a suitable base.	Carefully remove and install front door (1). If the front door (1) comes into contact with the vehicle, the paint can be damaged. Helper required. : The exterior contour of the hinge bolt (4.1) should be flush with the inside contour of the bolt mount (4.2).
9	Install in the reverse order

10	Check gap dimensions of front door (1).	Driver's door	AR72.10-P-0551LW
		Passenger door	AR72.10-P-0552LW
11	Normalize window lifter.
