| 1 | Use corresponding steering knuckle | AR35.20-P-0115NKB | |
| 2 | Remove heat shield (1) under rear axle differential (2) | When removing right rear axle shaft (3). | |
| 3 | Lever rear axle shaft (3) out of rear axle differential (2) and remove | ||
| 4 | Check constant velocity joints and boots (3m) of rear axle shaft (3) | If the outer constant velocity joint is defective, the rear axle shaft (3) must be replaced. If boot (3m) is damaged or leaking or if inner constant velocity joint is defective:↓ Replace constant velocity joint or boot (3m) of rear axle shaft (3). |

| 6 | Check radial shaft sealing ring on side of rear axle differential (2) | If damaged or leaking: ↓ Replace side radial shaft sealing ring. |
