Remove/install crank window in rear door - AR72.12-P-1910NKC

DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove outer sealing rail (3)   AR72.12-P-1017NKC 
2 Roll up crank window (1) completely    
3 Remove door lining (2)    
4 Glue on adhesive tape (4), as shown, parallel to window guide rail (5) on crank window (1) Only when reusing old crank window (1).
IMPORTANT Adhesive tape (4) serves as installation aid for faster adjustment of crank window (1).
 
5 Unclip rear shaped part (6.1) on inner sealing frame (6.2) from inner door panel    
6 Remove inner sealing rail (6.2) NOTES
Carefully lift inner sealing rail (6.2) off of bead on inner door panel.
Otherwise the inner sealing rail (6.2) can bend and must be replaced.

7 Remove rubber grommets (7, 8)    
8 Unscrew bolt (9.2)    
9 Loosen bolt (9.1) until crank window (1) can be removed from rear door IMPORTANT Do not remove bolt (9.1).  
10 Remove crank window (1) from rear door NOTES
Carefully remove crank window (1) from rear door
Otherwise the paint can be damaged.
IMPORTANT Place crank window (1) on suitable base.
 
11 Unlock catch hook (arrow A) and remove crank window mount (10) from crank window (1) When replacing crank window (1).  
INSTALLING Install     
12 Install crank window mount (10) on crank window (1) When replacing crank window (1).
IMPORTANT Wedge shim (10.1) on crank window mount (10) should be positioned in center in relation to inner section (10.2) (arrow B). Ensure that threaded plate (10.3) is seated correctly in inner section (10.2).
 
13 Install crank window (1) in rear door and insert into mounts of power window NOTES
Carefully insert crank window (1) into rear door. Otherwise the paint can be damaged.
 
14 Push crank window (1) toward front until adhesive tape (4) makes contact parallel to window guide rail (5). Only when reusing old crank window (1).  
15 Tighten bolts (9.1, 9.2) to stop finger-tight IMPORTANT Tighten bolts (9.1, 9.2) after basic setting of crank window (1).  
16 Moisten rubber strip on inner sealing rail (6.2) with lubricant Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A 
17 Position inner sealing rail (6.2) behind crank window (1) and install on bead on inner door panel    
18 Clip rear shaped part (6.1) into inner sealing rail (6.2) into inner door panel IMPORTANT Ensure that rear shaped part (6.1) is seated correctly in inner door panel.
IMPORTANT Assemble front shaped part of inner sealing rail (6.2) when installing outer sealing rail (3)
 
19 Adjust crank window (1), correct if required   AR72.12-P-1950NKC 
20 Remove adhesive tape (4) Only when reusing old crank window (1).  
21 Install outer sealing rail (3)   AR72.12-P-1017NKC 
IMPORTANT When installing outer sealing rail (3), it is not necessary to lower the crank window (1).  
22 Install rubber grommets (7, 8)    
23 Install door lining (2)
