| Specified engine oils (service) - Overview | Wet compensating elements, vacuum pump drive and camshaft bearing points with engine oil. Otherwise, damage to the exhaust camshaft (1a) will occur. Cams of exhaust camshaft (1a) must point upwards at an angle after insertion of exhaust camshaft (1a) at cylinder 1. The cams of the intake camshaft (1e) and exhaust camshaft (1a) must point to each other. Otherwise, damage to the exhaust camshaft (1a) and intake camshaft (1e) will occur. |

| Specified engine oils (service) - Overview | Wet compensating elements and camshaft bearing points with engine oil. Otherwise, damage to the intake camshaft (1e) will occur. Cams of intake camshaft (1e) must point upwards at an angle after insertion of intake camshaft (1e) at cylinder 1. The cams of the intake camshaft (1e) and exhaust camshaft (1a) must point to each other. Otherwise, damage to the exhaust camshaft (1a) and intake camshaft (1e) will occur. Full stroke position can be recognized by the wide gap (11) between carrier shaft (10) and front cam piece (12a). There should be no gap (arrow) between the camshaft piece at the rear (12b) and the high-pressure pump drive cams (13). Manually adjust front cam piece (12a) and cam piece (12b) if necessary. |
