| 3 | Release and disconnect electrical connection for engine oil pump valve (Y130) | ||
| 4 | Remove screw/bolt/bolts (5) | *BA18.10-P-1001-01S | |
| 5 | Press clamping device for oil pump chain together, remove oil pump chain from oil pump gear and remove oil pump (1) | Fill oil pump (1) with engine oil before installation. Engine damage can occur otherwise. |

| 6 | Check oil pump gear for unobstructed movement and damage | In the case of a jamming or damages oil pump gear. ↓ Replace oil pump (1). |

| 7 | Check clamping device for oil pump chain for damage | In the case of a damaged clamping device ↓ Replace clamping device. |
