5	Unhook shackles (2) from cover.
6	Unclip guides (6) and unhook cables (7). 7	Disconnect electrical connectors from electrical wiring harness (4).	The number of electrical connectors is dependent on the vehicle equipment. WIS Service Media  Operation steps 7 to 10 are shown here: multimedia:A supplement to the article is available.
8	Expose electrical wiring harness (4) and detach from bracket (1).
9	Lift seat cushion and pass electrical wiring harness (4) out between seat cushion and seat frame.
10	Remove screws (5) and remove seat backrest (3) from seat frame base.
	Install
11	Position seat backrest (3) on seat frame base and position screws (5).
12	Lift seat cushion and guide electrical wiring harness (4) in between seat cushion and seat frame base.
13	Apply sandbags to seat backrest (3) as shown.	Model 205.3/4 with code 555 (AMG Performance Seats) The weight of the sandbags must be 15 kg. Otherwise damage may occur. A helper is required for counterholding the seat.
14	Tighten bolts (5).	Bolt, backrest to seat frame	*BA91.10-P-1002-01T
15	Route electrical wiring harness (4) and attach to holder (1).	Ensure that electrical wiring harness (4) is routed and secured without chafing. Otherwise damage may occur.
16	Connect electrical connectors of electrical wiring harness (4).	The number of electrical connectors is dependent on the vehicle equipment.
17	Clip in guides (6) and hook in cables (7).	Model 205.3/4 except code 221 (Electrically Adjustable Left Driver Seat) except code 222 (Electrically Adjustable Right Front Seat) except code 241 (Memory Switch For Electrically Adjustable Front Passenger Seat, Left) except code 242 (Front Passenger Seat, Electrically Adjustable With Memory Function) except code 275 (Driver's Seat, Electrically Adjustable With Memory Function)   Model 238 except code 275 (Memory Package (Driver's Seat, Steering Column And Mirror))
18	Hook in shackles (2) of outer cover.
