Remove/Install Radial Shaft Sealing Ring Of Rear Axle Drive Shaft - AR35.30-P-4651MFC

CAUTION Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of transmission oil. Health risk caused by swallowing transmission oil Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.		 AS00.40-Z-0001-01A

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove corresponding rear axle shaft.   AR35.30-P-0621MFC 
2 Pry radial shaft sealing ring (1) out of rear axle differential (2) using a suitable tool. NOTES
Do not damage the seat of the radial shaft sealing ring (1) in the rear axle differential (2).
Leakage will otherwise occur.		  
3 Clean seat of radial shaft sealing ring (1) in rear axle differential (2). Assembly cleaner *BR00.45-Z-1028-04A 
4 Check seat of radial shaft sealing ring (1) in rear axle differential (2) for damage. If damage is found,
↓
Replace rear axle differential (2).		 AR35.31-P-0522MFC 
INSTALLING Install     
5 Press in radial shaft sealing ring (1) using drift (01) far enough so that drift (01) makes contact on rear axle differential (2). IMPORTANT Replace radial shaft sealing ring (1).
SPECIAL TOOL Drift		 Fig 2
    SPECIAL TOOL Handle Fig 1
6 Moisten sealing lip of radial shaft sealing ring (1) with transmission oil.    
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Universal hypoid gear oils (specification 235.7)   BB00.40-P-0235-07A
7 Install corresponding rear axle shaft.   AR35.30-P-0621MFC 
8 Check and correct oil level in rear axle differential (2).   AR35.31-P-0520-08MFC 
    FLUID SPECIFICATION Rear axle differential filling capacity *BF35.31-P-1001-02F 
    Sealant, Omnifit 100H (50 g) *BR00.45-Z-1061-01A 
    Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray *BR00.45-Z-1046-04A 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Filling screw/drain screw to housing cover at front/side *BA35.31-P-1005-07A 
9 Check rear axle differential (2) for leak tightness.
