Check oil level at room temperature only and not when the rear axle differential (50) is at operating temperature. Otherwise required oil could escape when the rear axle differential (50) is at operating temperature.
Cleaning
- Clean area around oil filler screw (50 g).
- Remove oil filler screw (50 g).
Check
- Check and correct oil level

With the correct oil level the oil reaches up to the bottom edge of the threaded hole.
If necessary add oil or drain off oil until the oil only drips out of the threaded hole.
Cleaning
- Clean oil filler screw (50g) and threaded hole in rear axle differential (50) with cleaning spray.
Replace oil filler screw (50 g).
The oil filler screw (50g) and tapped hole must be free from oil and grease.
- Apply one drop of to lower third of thread of oil filler screw (50g).
- Screw oil filler screw (50g) immediately into the rear axle differential (50) and tighten to the specified tightening torque
