	Remove
1	Move left and/or right front seat to foremost position.
2	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.		AR54.10-P-0003MFA
3	Remove lower B-pillar trim.		AR68.30-P-4705MFA
4	Release left front reversible belt tensioner (A76) and/or right front reversible belt tensioner (A76/1) and place to one side.		AR91.40-P-1010MFA
5	Mark installation position of hinge leaf (1.1) and hinge support (1.2).	Lower hinge consists of hinge leaf (1.1) and hinge support (1.2).
6	Support rear door using suitable means and fix in place.	Support rear door and fix in place. Rear door will otherwise be damaged.
7	Remove cover and remove grub screw by three revolutions.
8	Remove nuts (3).
9	Unscrew screw (2) and remove hinge leaf (1.1) with hinge support (1.2).

10	Clean contact surfaces in area of hinge supports.	Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
11	Align hinge leaf (1.1) at rear door by means of the previously applied markings and slightly tighten screw (2) by hand.
12	Align hinge support (1.2) with previously applied markings and slightly tighten nuts (3) by hand.	Helper required.
13	Close and open rear door.	The installation position of the rear door may change later due to opening and closing.
