| 1 | Remove transmission. | AR27.10-P-0009MFC | |
| 2 | Install retaining lock for crankshaft/starter ring gear. | AR03.30-P-5000MFC | |
| 3 | Loosen screws (1-8). | Do not use impact wrenches or similar pneumatic tools to release screws (1-8). Otherwise the threaded holes in the crankshaft flange will be damaged. |

| 4 | Remove screws (1-8) and remove flywheel/drive plate (9). | ||
| 5 | Check rear radial shaft sealing ring for leak tightness and damage. | If problems exist, ↓ Replace rear radial shaft sealing ring. |

| 7 | Slightly tighten screws (1-8) by hand and tighten in numerical order as per the figure. | ||
