| Remove | |||
| 1 | Affix tape (6), as shown, so that it is flush with the sealing rail (2) on the side window (1). | If the side window (1) is reused. | |
| 2 | Remove sealing rail (2). | AR72.10-P-1610MFC | |
| 3 | Remove covers (3). | ||
| 4 | Raise side window (1) to topmost position so that screws (4, 5) can be accessed through access openings. | ||
| 5 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 6 | Release electrical connectors from the front door control unit and remove door trim. | ||
| 7 | Unscrew bolt (4). | ||
| 8 | Loosen bolt (5). | ||
| 9 | Remove side window (1) from front door. | ||
| 10 | Unclip bracket (8) at side window (1) and remove. | When replacing side window (1). | |
| Install | |||
| 11 | Attach bracket (8) to side window (1). | When replacing side window (1). | |
| 12 | Insert side window (1) into window channel. | ||
| 13 | Tighten screws (4, 5) slightly by hand. | ||

| 15 | Push side window (1) forward until the tape (6) is flush with the sealing rail (2) as shown. | If the side window (1) is reused. | |
