	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by pinching or crushing when working on springs or spring bodies that are under tension	Use only approved tensioning devices; shield off hazard area if necessary. Inspect special tools for damage and proper operation (visual inspection). Wear protective gloves.	AS00.00-Z-0001-01A

		While working on the rear axle care must be taken to ensure that the surfaces of aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the of the parts will be reduced.

2	Remove covering (72c) of left or right spring control arm (72)
3	Tension left or right rear spring (73)	Model 171	AR32.20-P-0200-01A

4	Unscrew nut (72b), pull out bolt and detach spring control arm (72) from rear axle carrier	Push spring control arm (72) using assembly lever out of spring control arm fixture on rear axle carrier. Model 171	*BA35.20-P-1001-01A

5	Remove rear spring (73)	: Clean rear spring (73) contact surface.
6	Install in the reverse order	: Only tighten bolts and nuts of the chassis components in the curb condition.
7	Check and correct headlight setting	After replacing the rear spring (73) or rubber mount (74).	AP82.10-P-8260V
