Lift/Jack Up Vehicle - AR00.60-P-1000V

  Lift/lower vehicle     
  Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A 
  Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off on its own when jacked up.
Risk of injury  caused by rotating parts when working on running engine or drive train.
Ensure that jack stands have secure and adequate footing.
An authorized person must occupy the driver seat.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

1 Clip adapter (01) into lift support points (1) of longitudinal members When removing underfloor paneling.
SPECIAL TOOL Adapter kit

2 Adjust support plates (02) of vehicle lift support arms (03) to height of vehicle IMPORTANT Turn support plates (02) until these make contact with SPECIAL TOOL adapters (01) or lift support points (1) of longitudinal members.  
3.1 Raise vehicle with vehicle lift.    
3.2 Lift vehicle with inspection pit lift or floor jack Pit lift

4.1 For this reason, secure vehicle on vehicle lift against tilting and falling down. IMPORTANT Before removing major assemblies (e.g. engine, transmission, axles). AR00.60-P-0100T 
4.2 Secure vehicle on inspection pit lift or floor jack against tilting and falling down IMPORTANT Place jack stands beneath lift support points (1).

5 Lower vehicle in reverse order
