| 1 | Completely close Vario roof | ||

| 2 | Positioning trunk lid to assembly position | AR88.50-P-5000-01RK | |
| 3 | Remove retractable trunk partition | AR68.50-P-3000RK | |
| 4 | Remove trim from rear end center assembly | AR68.30-P-4785RK | |
| 5 | Unscrew bolt (1) and remove retractable partition lock (2) | ||
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) from retractable trunk partition closed limit switch (S69/10) | ||
| 7 | Remove bolts (4) | ||
| 8 | Remove retaining clips (5) | ||
| 9 | Detach right luggage compartment lining (6) or left luggage compartment lining (7) from trunk lid seal (8) and unhook from center luggage compartment lining (9). | ||
| 10 | Remove right luggage compartment lining (6) until electrical connector for right luggage compartment lamp (E18/4) is accessible or left luggage compartment lining (7) until electrical connector on left luggage compartment lamp (E18/5) is accessible | ||
| 11 | Disconnect electrical connector from right luggage compartment lining (E18/4) or left luggage compartment lining (E18/5) | ||
| 12 | Remove right luggage compartment lining (6) or left luggage compartment lining (7) | ||
| 13 | Install in the reverse order |
