| 4 | Unscrew fuel tank cover (1) | ||

| 6 | Coat sealing lip on tank recess (3) with liquid lubricant | Lubricant, rubber assembly 1l | *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A |
| 7 | Insert suitable tool max. 6 mm deep into release holes | ||
| 8 | Press catch hook (4) down and pull out of tank recess (3) | ||
| Install | |||
| 10 | Coat sealing lip on tank recess (3) with lubricant and clip tank recess (3) into rear fender | Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l |

| 11 | Carefully install sealing lip on tank recess (3) over fuel tank filler neck and AdBlue container filler neck | ||
| 12 | Install rubber plug (2) | If tank recess must not be replaced and cutouts (A) not plugged. | |
