Electric Seats Function - GF91.29-P-0006GR

MODEL 166 up to model year 2016 

The electric seats function description comprises the following subfunctions, which are described in separate documents:

IMPORTANT In addition to CODE 275 (Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors)), CODE P64 Memory package also includes fully electric seat adjustment with memory for the front passenger seat.

Electrical seat adjustment (ESE) function (except CODE 275 (Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors)) and except CODE P64 (Memory package)) 

The following electrical driver and front passenger seat settings can be made with the ESA:

The longitudinal seat position can also be adjusted in vehicles with CODE 560 (Left and right electrically adjustable driver seat).

Electrical seat adjustment (ESE), function (with CODE 275 (Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors)) or CODE (P64) Memory package)) 

The following electrical driver and front passenger seat settings can be made with the ESA:

The memory function can also be used to store and retrieve up to three different seat positions.

Lumbar support adjustment function (with CODE 560 (Left and right electrically adjustable driver seat) or CODE 275 (Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors)) or CODE P64 (Memory package)) 

In order to provide optimum support for the vertebral column, the backrests on the driver and front passenger seats each have a lumbar support unit integrated.

Multicontour seat (MKS), function (with CODE 399 (Front multicontour seats with massage function)) 

The contour and surface hardness of the backrest and the seat cushion of the driver and front passenger seat can be changed individually. This is done by air cushions that can be inflated independently of each other. In order to prevent back tension during long journeys, the multicontour seat is also equipped with a massage function.

2nd seat row seat release, function (model 166.8) 

In order to make access to the 3rd seat row easier, the seats in the 2nd row can be released manually or electrically (with CODE 843 (EASY-ENTRY electric)) and folded down. The seats are returned to their original position manually.

Folding over the 3rd row, function (model 166.8) 

The right or left backrest of the 3rd seat row in the rear can be folded in or out electrically.

Electrically adjustable steering column (ESC [EVL]), function (with CODE 275 (Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors))) 

The adjust/store steering column function allows the steering column to be adjusted to various different positions and these positions to be stored. The easy entry/exit function allows the driver to get in and out of the vehicle easily. In the process the steering column is moved upwards before getting in or out.
