1	Shift the transmission (1) into neutral position.
2	Release parking brake.
3	Disconnect ground line from battery.		AR54.10-P-0003FR
4	Remove charge air cooler with coolant lines still connected and place to one side.		AR09.41-P-6817MRH
5	Secure vehicle on vehicle lift.		AR00.60-P-1006A
6	Remove center and rear lower engine compartment lining.		AR61.20-P-1105FR
7	Remove propeller shaft from front axle differential.		AR41.10-P-0070MRH
8	Disconnect ground lines (2) from transmission (1).
9	Remove heat shield (3).
10	Release and disconnect electrical connector (4) at electric controller unit.
11	Remove electrical wiring harness from transmission (1).
12	Remove oil lines.		AR27.55-P-0600OLE
13	Remove oil cooler from transmission (1).		AR27.55-P-1000OLC
14	Remove cover (5).
15	Remove torque converter (10) from drive plate (13).	Do not use an impact wrench or compressed air tool for removal. Otherwise, the threaded unions (14) in the drive plate (13) may be damaged.	AR27.20-P-0001-01EWM

16	Unfasten starter wiring harness from transmission (1).
17.1	Detach starter from transmission (1) and place to one side and fasten with lines connected. 18	Detach starter wiring harness bracket from transmission (1).
19	Remove screws (19).

20	Remove transmission (1) with torque converter (10).

25	Install transmission (1) with torque converter (10).
