WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Deburr repair panels.

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove engine cover.    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE   Engine 178 in model 190.381
with code M032 (Black Series version)
AP01.10-P-2405-01GT
2 Slowly unscrew cap from coolant expansion reservoir and remove.    
3 Remove front engine compartment lining.   AR61.20-P-1105RGB
  Drain off     
4 Slide drain hose onto fitting (2).    
5 Open drain valve (3) and collect coolant in a suitable container.    
6 Close drain valve (3) and remove drain hose.    
  Pour in     
7 Pour in coolant and bleed engine cooling system.   AR20.00-P-1142-04A 
    FLUID SPECIFICATION Cooling system *BF20.00-P-1001-02U 
    SPECIAL TOOL Test cap Fig 2
    SPECIAL TOOL Cooler vacuum filling device Fig 4
    SPECIAL TOOL NTKL Adaption Fig 1
    SPECIAL TOOL Electric vacuum pump Fig 3
INSPECT Check     
8 Check coolant level, correct if necessary. FLUID SPECIFICATION Cooling system *BF20.00-P-1001-02U 
9 Check engine cooling system for leak tightness.   AR20.00-P-1010MNB 
INSTALLING Install     
10 Install front engine compartment lining.   AR61.20-P-1105RGB
11 Unscrew cap.    
12 Install engine cover.
