| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition, remove transmitter key if necessary and lay transmitter key down outside of KEYLESS-GO transmission range | ||
| 2 | Lift vehicle on vehicle lift | AR00.60-P-1000RG | |
| 3 | Remove complete wheel set at left rear or right rear | AR40.10-P-1100RQ | |
| 4 | Unscrew nuts (1) and remove fender liner at left or right | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) | ||
| 6 | Branch-off electrical line of RPM sensor on left or right rear axle from wiring harness (3) | ||
| 7 | Unhook electrical line from bracket (4) | ||
| 8 | Remove bolt (5) | ||

| 9 | Pull out rear axle RPM sensor (L6/3 or L6/4) and remove together with electrical line from vehicle | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order | ||

| 11 | Connect STAR DIAGNOSE and read out fault memory | ||
