Remove/Install Front Door - AR72.10-P-0500RG

	Remove/install
1	Completely lower side window (2)
2	Switch of ignition, remove transmitter key if necessary and lay transmitter key down outside of KEYLESS-GO transmission range
3	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003RG
4	Mask fender (3) and front door (1) at edges with adhesive tape (4) as shown
5	Disconnect left electrical connector (X35/1) or right door electrical connector (X35/2)
6	Remove protective caps (5)
7	Remove bolts (6)	Moisten thread on bolts (6) with Loctite. Repair paint damage in area of bolts (6).

		Thread locking agent, Loctite 243 (10 ml)	*BR00.45-Z-1133-02A
8	Remove front door (1) from hinges and lay on a suitable base	Carefully remove front door (1). If the front door (1) comes into contact with the vehicle, the paint can be damaged. Helper required.
9	Install In the reverse order
	Check
10	Check gap dimensions on front door (1), correct If necessary		AR72.10-P-0550RG
11	Calibrate power window	Actuate button to close side window and hold for approx. 5 s. Then check whether side window opens or closes correctly.
12	Check front door for proper function (1)	The functions can vary depending on the equipment.
