| 1 | Remove the rear wall trim | AR68.30-P-4750RGR | |
| 2 | Open emergency operation valve (10) one turn with Allen key (size 4) | ||
| 3 | Disconnect the linkage (3) on the ball head (2) | ||
| 4 | Fold in the soft top inner trim (4) by hand and secure in place with adhesive tape (5) | ||
| 5 | Move the soft top (1) to assembly position and secure it in place with the support (11). | ||

| 6 | Remove the soft top compartment trim at the front | AR68.80-P-0001RGR | |
| 7 | Remove stowed and locked soft top sensor (S84/24) from left rear lock (8) | Otherwise malfunctions can occur on the soft top put down and locked sensor (S84/24). Otherwise, the soft top put down and locked sensor (S84/24) could be installed the wrong way around later. |

| 8 | Mark the position of the left rear (8) and right rear (6) soft top locks | ||
| 9 | Unscrew screws (7, 9) | Otherwise, the soft top canvas can be soiled when removing the bolts (7, 9). |

| 10 | Remove the left rear (8) and right rear (6) lock | ||
| 11 | Remove electrical fuse 39 in rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) | ||
| Manually close soft top (1) | |||
| 12 | Remove the support (11) and place the soft top (1) towards the front on the crossmember above the windshield | ||

| 13 | Unclip cover (13) | ||
| 14 | Insert outer locking parts (12) into front mounts (14) | ||
| 15 | Press the outer front soft top (1) downwards (arrows B) | ||
| 16 | Guide Allen key (size 6) through the headliner's opening and into the deflector (15) | ||
| 17 | Press Allen key (size 6) upwards (arrow C) and turn deflector (15) to right | Otherwise, the mechanical components of the deflector (15) will be damaged. |

| Manually open soft top (1) | |||
| 18 | Guide the Allen key (size 6) through the headliner's opening and into the deflector (15) | ||
| 19 | Turn the Allen key (size 6) to the left without applying pressure to it | ||
| Install | |||
| 20 | Clip in cover (13) | ||
| 21 | Move the soft top (1) to assembly position and secure it in place with the support (11). | ||

| 22 | Install electrical fuse 39 in rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) | ||
| 23 | Position the left rear (8) and right rear (6) lock at the marked installation location | ||
| 24 | Tighten screws (7, 9) | Otherwise, the soft top canvas can be soiled when tightening the bolts (7, 9). |
