On model 166.0, the rear fuse box is located under the right rear seat and on model 166.8, it is located under the left rear seat.
When "ATO" and "MAXI" fuses are changed, they must always be replaced with fuses that comply with the Mercedes-Benz standard: MBN10153-2. "ATO" and "MAXI" fuses are installed in the engine compartment fuse and relay module, in the rear fuse box and in the interior prefuse box.
The buffer battery protection protects the intelligent servo module for DIRECT SELECT (A80) (looped through from the electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)). The fuse rating of the fuse is 10 A.
