Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. 	Remove/install
1	Remove top engine cover upward over heat shield (26)	Install top engine cover over heat shield (26) only after the leak test.
2	Drain off coolant	Do not install center and front lower engine compartment lining until after leak test.	AR20.00-P-1142MNG
3	Remove left-hand air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1151MNG
4	Remove right air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1151MNG
5	Unclip engine wiring harness of right cylinder head cover at the heat shields and place to one side	Bolt, engine wiring harness ground to cylinder head cover	AR15.18-P-1000-06MNG *BA15.10-P-1003-05F
		Bolt, engine wiring harness to cylinder head cover	*BA15.18-P-1001-01G
6	Remove screws/bolts (25)	Bolt, upper heat shield to bracket/side heat shield	*BA09.40-P-1006-01ZA
7	Remove heat shield (26) in upward direction
8	Remove right heat shield on right exhaust gas turbocharger	Bolt, side heat shield to cylinder head cover	AR09.40-P-6027-00MNG *BA09.40-P-1007-01ZA
		Pipe for inerting to engine	*BA86.10-P-1002-03E
9	Check elastomer bearings of right heat shield on right exhaust gas turbocharger for damage	If a problem arises ↓ Replace elastomer bearing.
10	Remove cylinder 1+2 ignition coil (T4)		AR15.12-P-2009MNG
11	Remove screw/bolts (6, 8)	Bolt, coolant line to turbocharger/cylinder head	*BA09.40-P-1004-01ZA
12	Remove vent line (7), and seal openings with suitable stop plugs	Replace seals.
		Record plug	Fig 2
13	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
14	Perform an engine test run and check engine for proper operation and leaktightness
15	Install center and front lower engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105LW
16	Install top engine cover over heat shield (26)
