	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS20.00-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m)
2	Remove upper engine cover	Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.	AR01.10-P-2405MNE
3	Remove the cap (2)	The coolant temperature should be approx. 40°C.
4	Disconnect coolant hoses (3, 4)	Clamp	Fig 2
5	Suction coolant out of low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1)	Cooling system	*BF20.00-P-1001-02LA
		Hand pump	Fig 3
6	Remove coolant hoses (3, 4) from low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1)		AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
7	Remove low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1)	Wet elastomer bearings with lubricating paste.
		Antifriction paste, rubber parts 2.5 kg, DBL 6867.00	*BR00.45-Z-1002-06A
8	Check elastomer bearings of low-temperature circuit coolant expansion reservoir (1) for damage	If a problem arises ↓ Replace elastomer bearing.
9	Install in the reverse order
10	Run the engine management control unit (MCM) bleeding routine		AD00.00-P-2000-04B
11	Check low-temperature circuit for leaktightness		AR09.41-P-1011MNE
12	Install upper engine cover		AR01.10-P-2405MNE
