	Remove
2	Move Front seat toward the Front to end position.	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on B-pillar (6).
3	Release top paneling (7) and remove from working area.	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on B-pillar (6). Do not remove belt end fitting.	AR68.30-P-4700LW
4	Remove bottom paneling (8).	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on B-pillar (6).	AR68.30-P-4700LW
5	Release seat belt retractor (9) and remove from working area.	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on B-pillar (6). Do not disconnect electrical connectors.	AR91.40-P-1010LW
	Adjust
6	Mark position of lock striker (10) relative to C-pillar.
7	Remove screws (11) and remove lock striker (10).
8	Release nuts (4) and nuts (5) at B-pillar (6) alternately.	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on B-pillar (6). During adjustment ensure that only nuts (4) or nuts (5) are loosened. Otherwise the paint can be damaged when the Rear door (1) comes into contact with other components.
9	Adjust corresponding gap dimensions by moving Rear door (1).	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on B-pillar (6).

10	Tighten nuts (4) and nuts (5) at B-pillar (6).	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on B-pillar (6). Nut, hinge to B-pillar	*BA72.12-P-1002-01R
11	Loosen screws (12) and screws (13) on Rear door (1) alternately.	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on Rear door (1). During adjustment ensure that only bolts (12) or bolts (13) are loosened. Otherwise the paint can be damaged when the Rear door (1) comes into contact with other components.
12	By moving Rear door (1), adjust transition of Front door to Rear door (1) and door position in a vertical direction.	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on Rear door (1). The contour of the Rear door (1) must align with the contour of the Rear door or project by a maximum of 1 mm.
13	Tighten screws (12) and screws (13) on Rear door (1).	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on Rear door (1). Screw/bolt, hinge to Rear door	*BA72.12-P-1001-01R
14	Position lock striker (10) at C-pillar and screw in screws (11) up to end stop.	It must still be possible to adjust lock striker (10).
15	Adjust transition between Rear door (1) and C-pillar by moving lock striker (10).	The contour of the Rear door (1) must align with the contour of the C-pillar or project by a maximum of 1 mm.
16	Tighten screws (11) of lock striker (10) at C-pillar.	Bolt, lock striker to C-pillar	*BA72.12-P-1004-01R
	Install
17	Repair paint damage at bolt heads of screws (12, 13).	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on Rear door (1).
18	Protect Rear door (1) or B-pillar (6) against corrosion in area of both hinges (2, 3).	Wax for engine compartment (400 ml spray can)	*BR00.45-Z-1018-05A
19	Install seat belt retractor (9).	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on B-pillar (6).	AR91.40-P-1010LW
20	Install bottom paneling (8).	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on B-pillar (6).	AR68.30-P-4700LW
21	Fasten top paneling (7).	When performing adjustment work on hinge halves on B-pillar (6).	AR68.30-P-4700LW
22	Move Front seat back.	If adjustment work is performed over the hinge leaves on the B-pillar (6).
