	Remove/install
1	Remove B-pillar trim.		AR68.30-P-4700LW
2	Remove retaining clips (10).	Model 213 with code 581 (Automatic air conditioning)
3	Lift air duct (9) and swivel inwards until screws (4, 7) are accessible.	Model 213 with code 581 (Automatic air conditioning) Ensure correct seating of bracket (arrow A) in opening (arrow B).
4	Disconnect ground line from on-board electrical system battery.	Model 293	AR54.10-P-0003EQ

5	Remove bolt (2) and remove seat belt guide bracket (3) from seat belt height adjuster (1).	Bolt, front belt guide bracket	*BA91.40-P-1002-01U
6	Unscrew screw (4).	Model 205.0/1/2, 253, 293 with code 299 (PRE-SAFE® system) Model 213 Bolt, front seat belt retractor	*BA91.40-P-1001-01U
7	Unscrew bolt (7).	Bolt, front seat belt retractor	*BA91.40-P-1001-01U
8	Remove seat belt retractor (5) from B-pillar.
9	Disconnect electrical connector (8).	Model 205.0/1/2, 253, 293 with code 299 (PRE-SAFE® system) Model 213
10	Disconnect electrical connector (6) and remove seat belt retractor (5).
11	Dispose of removed belt retractor (5) properly	When replacing the belt retractor (5).
12	Install in the reverse order.
13	Commission PRE-SAFE® system using vehicle diagnosis system.	Model 205.0/1/2, 253, 293 with code 299 (PRE-SAFE® system) Model 213 When replacing the belt retractor (5).
