3	Clean oil pan (34) and surrounding area thoroughly	Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
4	Drain the transmission oil and collect for determining the quantity of transmission	Open bayonet coupling (30) and pry off overflow pipe (31) from the base using a suitable tool. The remaining transmission oil drains out immediately after prying off. Replace sealing ring of bayonet coupling (30).

8	Remove screws/bolts (1 to 8)	Replace screws/bolts (1 to 8). Tighten screws/bolts (1 to 8) of oil pan (34) in numerical sequence.

9	Remove oil pan (34) from transmission housing (35)	When exchanging oil filter, replace oil pan (34). Oil filters (32) cannot be obtained individually. Replace O-rings on oil filters (32).
10	Remove overflow pipe (31) from oil pan (34)	Press overflow pipe (31) firmly onto base of oil pan (34).
11	Check overflow pipe (31) for signs of damage	If damage is present ↓ Replace overflow pipe (31).
12	Remove seal (33)	Do not apply any sealant or sealing compound to oil pan (34) and transmission housing (35). Leaks can occur otherwise. Replace seal (33).
13	Clean sealing surfaces of oil pan (34) and magnets	Sealing surfaces must be absolutely free of oil and grease. Leaks can occur otherwise. Allow assembly cleaner to flash off completely.

14	Install in the reverse order

	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.
