5	Unscrew bayonet coupling (1), install adapter (2) and connect oil dispenser

		Set air pressure on oil dispenser before filling the transmission to maximum 2  bar. Otherwise, the oil pan may be damaged if the filling pressure is too high.

6	Pump 8 l of transmission oil into transmission

		Observe Specifications for Operating Fluids. Otherwise damage to the transmission may occur. On transmissions that have been repaired, add the quantity of transmission oil drained +0.5 l.

7	Start engine
8	Connect diagnostic system and check oil level
		Transmission 725.0 in model 207, 212, 218 up to model year 2015 In the diagnostic system, call up the "Adjust oil level" menu item. Throughout the entire test, the parking brake must not be released and no other disturbance variables may be generated, that are not required for the work procedure. All these factors would result in the diagnostic system measurement being canceled and then require a restart.	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
9.1	Heat transmission oil temperature up to 90 °C/194 °F	Vehicles with additional oil cooler and where the additional oil cooler was previously removed or replaced. Thermostat opens at 90 °C/194 °F. Engine speed 2500 rpm, selector lever in position "P".
9.2	Heat transmission oil temperature to 35 °C/95 °F	Vehicles without additional oil cooler or vehicles with additional oil cooler where additional oil cooler was not removed/replaced beforehand.
10.1	Switch off engine and allow transmission oil to cool down	Vehicles with additional oil cooler and where the additional oil cooler was previously removed or replaced.
10.2	Turn off engine	Vehicles without additional oil cooler or vehicles with additional oil cooler where additional oil cooler was not removed/replaced beforehand.
11	Determine transmission oil temperature using diagnostic system
		Transmission 725.0 in model 207, 212, 218 up to model year 2015	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
12	Start engine and leave in selector lever position "P"
13	Pump transmission oil using oil dispenser into transmission

		Observe Specifications for Operating Fluids. Otherwise damage to the transmission may occur.

14	In the diagnostic system, select the "Adjust oil level" menu item and follow the instructions from the diagnostic system

15	Determine transmission oil temperature using diagnostic system
		Transmission 725.0 in model 207, 212, 218 up to model year 2015 As the overflow tube (3) within the oil pan is designed for operation at the specified transmission oil temperature, this temperature should never exceed the level indicated.	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
16	Remove oil dispenser together with adapter (2)

17	Drain constant flow of oil (arrow A) at specified transmission oil temperature until only a thin flow of oil exits (see correct oil filling capacity (arrow B))
		Transmission 725.0 in model 207, 212, 218 up to model year 2015 The diagnostic system performs the "Adjust oil level" oil adjusting function. Follow the instructions issued by the diagnostic system. If the oil flow is not constant after opening the drain screw, the oil level has to be corrected and the oil adjusting function performed again.	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
