	Remove/install
1	Lift/jack up vehicle		AR00.60-P-1000G
2	Remove underride guard	Aid of helper required
3	Remove DISTRONIC electric controller unit	On vehicles with code (EZ9) Distronic	AR30.30-P-1010GW
4	Detach struts (2) on vehicle frame		*BA20.20-P-1002-01O
			*BA18.30-P-1010-01G
5	Detach wheel arch additional radiator on the right with retaining frame on bumper carrier (5) and secure against falling down with attached lines		AR20.20-P-3866GW
6	Detach wheel arch engine oil cooler on the left with retaining frame on bumper carrier (5) and secure against falling down with attached lines		AR18.30-P-1000GW
7	Drain coolant		AR20.00-P-1142GW
	Notes on coolant		AH20.00-N-2080-01A
8	Detach coolant hoses on coolant lines (3, 4)	Collect coolant that flows out
9	Remove screw/bolts (6) from bumper carrier (5) on frame		*BA88.20-P-1002-01G
10	Remove additional radiator (1) with bumper carrier (5)
	Carry out operation steps 11 to 14 only if replacing the additional radiator (1)
11	Detach coolant line (3) on bumper carrier (5) and on additional radiator (1)	Replace sealing ring.
12	Detach coolant line (4) at additional radiator (1)	Replace sealing ring.
13	Remove bracket (7) on bumper carrier (5)
14	Remove additional radiator (1) out of bumper carrier (5)
	Checking
15	Check rubber grommets (8); replace if required
16	Install in the reverse order
17	Pour in coolant		AR20.00-P-1142GW
18	Inspect cooling system for leaks		AR20.00-P-1010GW
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
19	Carry out engine test run, checking the engine for leaks and proper operation
