Adjust Camber And Caster At The Front Axle - AR40.20-P-0263XG

Run-on 

  Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process   AH00.00-P-0020-01A
  Notes on repair work on suspension components   AH00.00-P-0100-01A
  Adjust     
1 Check vehicle level at front axle.   AR40.20-P-0302XG 
2 Check caster and assign to tabular value.   AR40.20-P-0203XG 
3 Replace bolt (2a), washer (2b), adjusting shim (2c) and nut (2d). NOTES Screw on nut (2d) of bolt (2a) up to contact surface, but do not tighten yet. This relieves the elastomer bearing of the lower control arm (1) when rocking the vehicle to settle the suspension.
IMPORTANT Use adjusting shims with previously-determined values.
IMPORTANT A change in the position of the bolt (2a) changes the camber. An adjustment of the front lower control arm towards the vehicle center (arrow a) causes a positive camber change (St+). Adjustment of the front lower transverse control arm towards the outside of the vehicle (arrow b) causes a negative camber change (St-).
IMPORTANT Using different adjusting shims (2c) can misadjust the caster. Adjustment of the lower transverse control arm towards the rear (arrow c) causes a reduction in caster (NL-). Adjustment of the lower transverse control arm towards the front (arrow d) causes an increase in caster (NL+).

4 Check vehicle level at front axle again after camber and caster adjustment. IMPORTANT The vehicle level must correspond to the quoted specified values. AR40.20-P-0302XG 
5 Tighten nut (2d) of bolt (2a) for the camber. NOTES
Tighten nut (2d) of bolt (2a) in a ready-to-drive condition.
Otherwise, the elastomer bearing will be damaged.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw/bolt, lower transverse control arm to frame
*BA33.15-P-1009-01A 
6 Tighten bolt (2a) for the caster. IMPORTANT Tighten nut (2d) of bolt (2a) in a ready-to-drive condition.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, bearing bracket for transverse control arm at bottom to frame
*BA33.15-P-1010-01A
