	Remove/install
1	Remove corresponding complete wheel		AR40.10-P-1101A
2	Detach brake line (4) from brake hose (1)	Seal connections immediately. Damage can otherwise be caused by escaping brake fluid. The expansion reservoir for brake fluid must not run completely empty.

3	Unhook brake hose (1) from brackets (5)	Model 205 with code 489 (AIRMATIC) Model 253 with code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL) When removing brake hose (1) at front axle. The brake hose (1) must be routed between the brackets (5) and the brake line (4) in an arc leading downwards. Otherwise, the brake hose (1) may make contact with the wheel and tire assembly and then be damaged. Hook rubber grommets, starting at brake caliper (3), into bracket (5).
4	Unscrew brake hose (1) from brake caliper (3) and remove	When removing brake hose (1) at front axle. Collect escaping brake fluid.

5	Unscrew banjo bolt and remove brake hose (1)	Model 205 (except 205.086/087/286/287/386/387) Model 253 When removing brake hose (1) at rear axle. Collect escaping brake fluid.

6	Unscrew brake hose (1) from brake caliper (3) and remove	Model 205.086/087/286/287/386/387 When removing brake hose (1) at rear axle. Collect escaping brake fluid.
