Remove/Install Low-Temperature Circuit Expansion Reservoir - AR09.41-P-0001MRA

  Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray.
Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant.
Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove upper engine cover     
2 Drain coolant from low-temperature circuit   AR09.41-P-6834LW 
3 Detach bleed line (3) from low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1) IMPORTANT Collect brake fluid in a suitable container. AR09.41-P-1311-01AL 
4 Unclip subharness (5) and electrical connection (7) for oxygen sensor upstream of CAT at low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1)    
5 Remove screw/bolts (4, 6) and then remove low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1) from elastomer bearing IMPORTANT Check elastomer bearing for damage and replace if necessary.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Ensure correct seating of the elastomer bearing.
 
6 Detach coolant hose (2) from low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1) IMPORTANT Check clamp for damage and replace if necessary.
IMPORTANT Collect brake fluid in a suitable container.
SPECIAL TOOL Hose clamp pliers

7 Remove low-temperature circuit expansion reservoir (1) upwards    
8 Install in the reverse order    
INSPECT Check     
9 Check coolant level and correct if necessary    
10 Check low-temperature circuit cooling system for leaktightness   AR09.41-P-1010LW 
  Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11 Carry out engine test run and check the cooling system for proper operation and for leaktightness
