Check Vacuum Pump - Ar43.05-D-1325H

INSPECT Checking     
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

1 Connect vacuum tester (1) to brake booster   AR43.10-D-0024-01H

IMPORTANT Keep engine idling for at least 30 seconds and read off the measured value on the vacuum tester (1).  
2 Start engine, read off measured value Vacuum in hose after engine has been running for 30 seconds
IMPORTANT For any deviation from the permissible value, check vacuum lines and vacuum pump, if necessary replace vacuum lines or vacuum pump:

Remove/install vacuum pump

3 Turn off engine    
4 Disconnect vacuum tester (1) from brake booster   AR43.10-D-0024-01H
