Remove/Install Vacuum Pump - Ar43.05-D-1320WE

MODEL 906 with ENGINE 651.955/956/957

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove charge air duct to charge air cooler   AR09.50-D-8680WE
2 Press in locking clips (arrows) and detach vacuum line (2) from vacuum pump (1)    
3 Remove screws/bolts (3) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA43.05-N-1003-01B 
4 Remove vacuum pump (1) IMPORTANT Collect escaping engine oil with rags.
IMPORTANTInstallation:  Clean sealing surfaces and install new gasket.
 
5 Install in the reverse order    
6 Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running
Carry out engine test run and check engine in the area of the vacuum pump (1) for leaks
Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
