Remove/Install Brake Fluid Reservoir - Ar42.10-D-0301H

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes. Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid. AS42.50-Z-0001-01A 
NOTES Brake fluid notes   AH42.50-P-0001-01A 
NOTES Notes on repairs to brake system   AH42.00-P-0003-01A 
1 Unscrew cover (1) of brake fluid reservoir (2)    
2 Suction off brake fluid from the brake fluid expansion reservoir (2)    
3 Open clamp (3) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace clamp (3).  
4 Detach hose (4) IMPORTANT Remove any remaining brake fluid that escapes with a rag.  
5 Detach hose (5) IMPORTANT Remove any remaining brake fluid that escapes with a rag.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Insert sealing grommet in hose (5).
 
6 Unplug connector from brake fluid indicator switch (S11)    
7 Remove bolt (6) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA42.10-N-1002-05A 
8 Detach brake fluid reservoir (2) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT install new O-rings (7). Otherwise brake system leakage may occur.  
9 Install in the reverse order    
10 Correct fluid level in brake fluid reservoir (2)   AP42.50-D-4210H 
11 Check brake system for leaks   AR42.10-S-0100-01S
