Check Brake System For Leaks - Ar42.10-S-0100-01S

  1. After bleeding, depress the brake pedal firmly several times in order to set the correct clearance between the brake disc and the brake pad.

    Check outer leaktightness 

  2. Fully depress brake pedal firmly. The pressure must be maintained without it being possible to depress the brake pedal further.

    Check outer leaktightness 

  3. Firmly press the brake pedal with the engine running.

    IMPORTANT The high boost provided by the brake booster with the engine running causes the brake pedal to slowly yield further.

  4. Check all connections for leaks.
  5. Check and, if necessary, correct brake fluid level in brake fluid reservoir.
