Remove/install headliner - AR68.30-P-4300GW

	Remove/install
1	Fully open tilting/sliding roof
2	Remove rear seat and rear seat backrest	Only on left rear seat	AR91.12-P-1700GW
3	Move driver seat toward rear to end position
4	Detach ground line from battery		AR54.10-P-0003GW
	Notes on battery		AH54.10-P-0001-01A
5	Remove bracket (2)	Unscrew bolt (2a).
6	Remove paneling (3)		AR68.30-P-4470GW
7	Remove side paneling (4)		AR68.30-P-1450GW
8	Remove grab handles (5)	All grab handles	AR68.30-P-4301-01GW
9	Remove belt guide (6) on center seat belt from headliner (1)
10	Remove sun visors (7)		AR68.60-P-5480GW
11	Remove paneling from A-pillars		AR68.30-P-4050GW
12	Remove overhead control panel		AR82.20-P-1000GW
13	Remove inside rearview mirror		AR68.40-P-0001GW
14	Detach electrical connector (14) at rain sensor (B38/2)
15	Remove bracket (13)	The bracket (13) is fastened with three bolts.
16	Remove reading lamp in rear		AR82.20-P-1120GW
17	Remove chrome molding (9)	The chrome-plated strip (9) is fastened with six bolts.
18	Unscrew bolts (12) from both guide rails (10)
19	Remove guide rails (10) and covers (11) below	Installation:  Coat slide shoes on left and right with grease.	*BR00.45-Z-1004-06A
20	Unhook headliner (1) from tilting/sliding roof opening	For this purpose unhook sheet metal clips (15, 16).
21	Remove bolts (8) from headliner (1)
22	Separate velcro connections (arrows) between roof panel and headliner (1).	Secure headliner (1) against falling down with aid of second person.
23	Lower headliner (1) on left and remove diagonally through rear door opening
24	Install in the reverse order
25	Read out and erase the fault memory using Star Diagnosis		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
26	Check all removed components for proper function
