6	Remove expansion rivet (3) from left front to liner (4) and right front to liner (5)

9	Detach protective strips in area of front bumper (1) on right and left	Carefully detach protective strips. Otherwise they may be damaged.
10	Disengage front bumper (1) from left front to (11) and right front to (12)

14	Unscrew bolt on left headlamp and right headlamp	Model 253

15	Remove bolts (13)	Model 253 Three retaining clips are installed instead of the three bolts (13) in the center.
16	Release front bumper (1) from arrests (14) and remove	Model 205 Observe following adjustment dimensions for front bumper (1):

17	Remove front bumper (1)	Model 205 with code 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) Model 205 with code 239 (DISTRONIC PLUS) Model 253 with code 233 (DISTRONIC PLUS) Model 253 with code 239 (DISTRONIC PLUS) Ensure that the air deflector (15) is located below the radar sensor (16). Otherwise the driver assistance system can fail. Tighten bolts (6) before adjusting gap dimensions. Check gap dimensions on front bumper (1).
