1	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position		AR88.40-P-1000GQ
2	Raise vehicle using vehicle lift until the wheels are clear of the ground		AR00.60-P-1000GZ

4	Remove cover over suspension strut tower
5.1	Remove air ducting (2)	When removing upper transverse control arm (1) on right side
5.2	Remove section of the bulkhead (3)	When removing upper transverse control arm (1) on left side
6.1	Detach front wheel and tire assembly	MODEL 166 without CODE 489 (Airmatic (air suspension with level adjustment and adaptive damping system ADS))

6.2	Remove suspension strut	MODEL 166 with CODE 489 (Airmatic (air suspension with level adjustment and adaptive damping system ADS))
6.2	Remove suspension strut		AR32.25-P-1017GQ
7	Remove fender liner front section in front fender		AR88.10-P-1310GQ
8	Unscrew nut (4m) and detach the bracket of the link rod (4) of upper transverse control arm (1)	If installed
9	Detach steering knuckle (5) of upper transverse control arm (1)	MODEL 166 without CODE 489 (Airmatic (air suspension with level adjustment and adaptive damping system ADS))
9		Self-locking nut, upper ball joint out of upper transverse control arm to steering knuckle	*BA33.20-P-1001-01R
10	Remove bolts (1s) and remove upper transverse control arm (1)	Helper required.
10		Self-locking nut of upper wishbone on front end	*BA33.20-P-1002-01R
11	Install in the reverse order
