Guide Roller For Electric Step, Removal And Installation - Ar88.30-D-8503TS

IMPORTANT Attention Risk of injury  from cuts or scrapes on sharp-edged vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or in the area of sharp, unburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels. AS00.00-Z-0017-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove, install     
1 Remove electrical step. Type 906 AR88.30-D-8500H 
2 Remove the holder (2) and put it to one side.   AR88.30-D-8504TS 
    IMPORTANT Do not remove the electric motor from the holder (2).  
3 Remove the microswitches (4) and put them to one side. Type 906  
    Type 906 AR88.30-D-8507TS 
4   TORQUE SPECIFICATION Type 906 screw, bumper corner on step *BA88.30-N-1009-02A 
5 Remove nuts (6). IMPORTANT Hold the threaded rods.  
6   TORQUE SPECIFICATION Type 906 screw rear housing cover on upper housing part *BA88.30-N-1010-02A 
7 Remove the sleeves (8).    
8 Unscrew the screws (9).    
9 Remove the rear housing cover (10) in the direction of the arrow (arrow A).    
10 Pull the step (11) out of the housing in the direction of the arrow (arrow B) until the corresponding guide roller (1) is accessible.    
11 Hold the screw (12) of the corresponding guide roller (1) and remove the nut (13).    
  Notes on self-locking screws and nuts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Type 906 screw connection guide roller on rail *BA88.30-N-1008-02A 
12 Unscrew the screw (12) and remove the guide roller (1) with washer (15). NOTESInstallation: 
Turn screw (12) in until the dimension? (C) between the guide roller (1) and the washer (15) is 2 mm. Otherwise the electrical step may malfunction.
 
13 Installation in reverse order.
