Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. | 14 | Remove left sound deadening mat over steering column tube and air duct (12) of instrument cluster/COMAND display additional fan (M4/13) | ||
| 15 | Disconnect electrical connector (17) | ||
| 16 | Fold over damping mat on air conditioner housing (1) and remove bolts (13) of electrical wiring harness bracket | ||
| 17 | Detach electrical connectors on AAC [KLA] control unit (N22/1) | ||
| 18 | Detach electrical wiring harness from air conditioner housing (1) blower motor and disconnect electrical connector (14) | ||
| 19 | Pull right footwell floor covering to one side, detach power ground (electronics) (W15) from body and detach condensation water drain hose (15) from air conditioner housing (1) | ||
| 20 | Pull left footwell floor covering to one side and detach condensation water drain hose (16) from air conditioner housing (1) | ||
| 21 | Expose electrical wiring harnesses surrounding the air conditioner housing (1) | ||
| 22 | Remove air conditioner housing (1) out of the vehicle with assistant | ||
