		Only remove the two front screws/bolts of seat rails and only loosen the two rear screws/bolts.
2	Remove door sill from front passenger footwell
3	Loosen edge guard in area of A-pillar trim and of door sill in front passenger footwell
4	Remove paneling on A-pillar in front passenger footwell
5	Remove front right floor covering
6	Remove glove box

21	Perform retrofit variant coding	Using STAR DIAGNOSIS carry out variant coding for activating the functions. Code software calibration number (SCN); to do so log in navigation by entering 3-digit code "56o" in instrument cluster. Note here that the third digit must be the letter "o" like Oscar. On vehicles with code (518) Media Interface, delete the Media Interface special equipment from the vehicle data card and the vehicle data card online, as it is no longer available.
22	Document retrofitted equipment via vehicle documentation (VeDoc)	Attach note "Universal Media Interface retrofitted as per AZ82.85-P-0004CYB " under field organization texts to design group 82.
23	Disconnect STAR DIAGNOSIS

24	Run function check on Universal Media Interface	The AUX connection electrical connector that is installed as standard no longer works. It is only possible to display information from the Universal Media Interface via instrument cluster on vehicles with code (442) Comfort multifunction steering wheel.
