Remove/Install Glove Compartment Lid - AR68.10-P-1200CY

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition    
2 Remove cover below right dashboard   AR68.10-P-1520CW 
3 Remove right trim strip on dashboard MODEL 204.9
up to model year 2013
AR68.10-P-1180CY 
4 Remove side covering (1) SPECIAL TOOL Mounting wedge Figure
5 Remove AUX jack electrical connector (X39/45) from glove box (3) Vehicles without code (518) Media Interface  
AR68.10-P-1400-01CW
6 Remove cover (5) from electrical media interface connector (X18/67) Vehicles with code (518) Media Interface  
7 Unclip media interface electrical connector (X18/67) from glove box (3) and move out of glove box (3) toward rear Vehicles with code (518) Media Interface  
8 Unlock retaining clip (9) for glove box vent hose    
9 Remove bolts (2, 7, 8)    
10 Remove bolts (10) Rechargeable screwdriver, rechargeable drill  
11 Disconnect electrical connector (11) from glove box lamp (E13/1)    
12 Disconnect electrical connector 12) from glove box socket (X58/31)    
13 Disconnect electrical connector and USB connector from communications module control unit (N112/2) MODEL 204.9
with CODE B54 (COM module)

14 Knock left and right hinge bolt (13) out of guide in glove box lid (6) and pull out of glove box lid (6)    
15 Pull locking pin (14) on damper (15) through opening (16) in glove box lid (6)    
16 Remove glove box lid (6) and damper (15) from glove box (3) IMPORTANT Observe installation position of damper (15).  
17 Install in the reverse order    
18 Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read fault memory MODEL 204.9
with CODE B54 (COM module)
