1	Connect Star Diagnosis and buffer basic data of Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) in Star Diagnosis	When replacing Audio/COMAND display (A40/8).
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		Transfer buffered basic data to new Audio/COMAND display (A40/8).
2.1	Remove center air vent (1)	Model 204.9 up to model year 2013
			AR83.10-P-4503CY
2.2	Remove trim strip (6) from instrument panel	Model 204.9 as of model year 2013

3	Unclip paneling (2) and remove	Mounting wedge	Figure
4	Unclip cover (3) and remove
5	Loosen screws/bolts (4) of Audio/COMAND display (A40/8)	Screws/bolts (4) remain on the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8).
6	Disconnect electrical connectors (5) from Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) and remove Audio/COMAND display (A40/8)
7	Install in the reverse order
