| 1 | Adjust right front seat toward rear to end position | ||
| 2 | Remove door sill molding (2) | Model 204, 207 | |
| 3 | Loosen edge guard (3) in area of bottom A-pillar paneling (5). | Model 204, 207 | |
| 4 | Remove A-pillar paneling at bottom (5) | Model 204, 207 | |
| 5 | Fold floor covering to passenger side | Model 212, 218 | |
| 6 | Unscrew bolts (4) and lower cover (1) | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connector from air outlet temperature sensor on right front footwell vent (B10/36) and right front footwell lamp (E17/15) | ||
| 8 | Remove cover (1) out of the footwell | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order |
