	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Remove radio (1)
			AR82.60-P-7502GZ
2	Remove glove box (2)
			AR68.10-P-1400GZ
		Remove and dispose of cover (3).
3	Remove paneling in front passenger footwell
			AR68.30-P-4010GZ
	Install
4	Retrofit media interface wiring harness		AN82.60-P-0016-02GY
		Do not kink or stretch MOST fiber optic cable. Otherwise there is a risk of breakage.
5	Retrofit media interface control unit		AN82.60-P-0016-01GY
6	Install paneling in front passenger footwell
			AR68.30-P-4010GZ
7	Install glove compartment (2)
			AR68.10-P-1400GZ
		Install cover (3) and attach electrical connector (4) of Media Interface to paneling (5).
8	Install radio (1)
			AR82.60-P-7502GZ
9	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
10	Check MOST bus configuration with STAR DIAGNOSIS
11	Enter special equipment on the vehicle data card and the online vehicle data card	Enter code (518) Media Interface, see: ↓
		Initial startup of retrofits and modifications	AN00.01-P-1001-01V
12	Disconnect STAR DIAGNOSIS
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
13	Document retrofitted equipment via vehicle documentation (VeDoc)	Attach note "Media interface retrofitted as per AN82.60-P-0016Y" under field organization texts to design group 82.
14	Perform function test	See operating instructions of Audio 50 APS radio and navigation unit (A2/56).
