1	Switch off ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS [EZS] control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go: Press keyless go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).
2	Open glove compartment (1)
3	Move CD Changer (arrow) to closing position	Only on vehicles with code (819) CD changer.
4	Remove Media Interface electrical connector from glove box	Only on vehicles with code (518) Media Interface	AR68.10-P-1400-02CW
5	Remove AUX jack electrical connector from glove box	Only on vehicles without code (518) Media Interface	AR68.10-P-1400-01CW

8	Remove glove compartment (1) downward and disconnect electrical connector for glove compartment illumination

11	Connect electrical connector for glove box illumination

13	Install AUX jack electrical connector from glove box	Only on vehicles without code (518) Media Interface	AR68.10-P-1400-01CW
14	Position glove box (1) on instrument panel
15	Screw in screws (3)
16	Install instrument panel side paneling (2)
17	Check CD changer actuation button (4) for proper function
18	Close glove box (1)
