Function requirements 

• Circuit 30
• Rotary light switch in Low beam position
• Combination switch (S4) in center position (Low beam position)

Function 

The rotary light switch is switched to the Low beam position and signals "Driving lights On" to the upper control panel control unit. The upper control panel control unit transmits the information to the front SAM control unit. This actuates the left low beam in the left front lamp unit and actuates the right low beam in the right front lamp unit.

The standing lamp in the right and left front lamp unit is still actuated when the driving lights are switched on. The actuation of the instrument cluster with the "Driving lights On" signal triggers a chime via the warning buzzer when the transmitter key (A8/1) is removed and the driver door is opened.
