1	Drive the vehicle onto the measuring station and secure using the parking brake	The measuring system must be approved by Mercedes-Benz.
2	Perform preparations for distance and comparative measurements	Model 164	AR40.30-P-0401GZ

3	Carry out distance and comparison measurements on front and rear axles	These measurements determine whether it is necessary to replace chassis components or repair the body on the straightening bench. Use either the reference value (difference between left and right) or the distance for assessment. In the event of visible damage (e.g. crack formation, deformation) on front axle or rear axle carrier the damaged parts should be replaced.	AR40.30-P-0402GZ
4	Repair vehicle	Where damage has been detected.
5	Perform wheel alignment check	When the vehicle has been repaired.
